Paths

Beginners

Those starting from scratch join the group with work on the basics: stance, footwork, fundamental strikes, safety. In the adult class the first two lessons are free trials with no commitment. Nobody is put under pressure: you grow at your own pace.

Paths

Experienced practitioners

Those coming from other martial arts or from years of practice are assessed by the master and placed at the appropriate level, with a programme that goes deeper into the disciplines, weapon work and close quarters. Private lessons allow you to progress faster on specific topics.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need experience or an athletic background to start?

No. The courses require no previous knowledge or special preparation: you start from the basics and progress step by step. Fitness improves within the first few weeks.

Can I start even if I am not so young any more?

Yes. Determination matters more than age: the work is adapted to each person’s level and condition.

Is there a risk of getting hurt?

The risk is comparable to any amateur sport. Contact phases come gradually, with protective gear and at an intensity that increases only when skills allow it.

What should I bring to the first lesson?

A T-shirt, comfortable shorts or trousers and trainers with clean soles, used only in the gym. Any specific equipment is indicated by the master.

Can I attend if I am overweight or out of shape?

Yes. Improving fitness is one of the first goals of practice and the workload is adapted to the person.

Are there exams or level gradings?

The path is organised in levels. Taking the gradings is not compulsory: the master prepares the student and the choice remains theirs. Format and timing are communicated in the gym.
